Hey ya’ll…
Today Brian and I showed two of our Elky’s at the Dust Off Car Show at Gilmore Car Museum. It was a perfect day for it.

We showed the 1970:

Shortly after we got there, a 1968 pulled in and parked next to us:

That. Was. It.

Though, there was this:

Brian and I already feel like the El Camino isn’t really appreciated. There were seriously like 50 Mustangs there. They had their own section. Sigh.

Maybe next year some NECOA guys can come and sit with us.

The museum is a really awesome place, too. They have some amazing things. Like this:

That’s right… A Tucker! These cars have a pretty interesting story. You should check out the movie sometime. Or just read Preston Tucker’s wiki page.

The museum also has its very own 1941 Diner. We had lunch there:

Yuuuum. (Click to enlarge.)

It used to reside in Connecticut, but traveled 790 miles to be restored (slightly) by the museum. It’s fully functional, too! Though, the mini bathrooms inside are exhibit only. 🙂

Here are more pictures from the museum:

There were probably about 150-200 cars there, so we couldn’t get pictures of everything, but here are some pictures from the car show:

That’s all for now! Tomorrow I’m doing mother’s day with my Mom. Should be fun! Maybe I can squeeze in a gardening post.
Have a fantastic weekend!
